MB gold plated jewelry is made of 925 sterling silver, which is the purest form of silver used in jewelry. We then use 18k gold and the process of electrolysis to add a thick layer of gold over silver.
To ensure durability, do not expose the gold plated jewelry to water, alcohol nor perfumes. If frequently exposed to any of these substances, the gold will tarnish and turn back to sterling silver.
When not worn, do not forget to store your jewelry in the linen pouch provided with your MB item.
